UK AWS hiring market is mature. SAA is the recognised floor for cloud engineering roles. CCP does not substitute for it and rarely accelerates time-to-SAA in any measurable way.

Cloud Practitioner is the warm-up exam. It teaches AWS vocabulary, billing concepts, and the shared responsibility model in a fortnight of evenings. The right user is someone with zero cloud exposure who wants to dip a toe before committing to SAA, or a non-technical role (sales, project management, account management) where understanding AWS conversationally matters. The wrong user is anyone with a technical background hoping it'll move their CV. It won't, and listing CCP next to SAA looks like padding. Treat it as a personal confidence cert, not a hiring signal.
