CompTIA UK storeLinux+ is CompTIA's Linux cert and recruiters mostly read it as foundation-level. RHCSA carries materially further in any Red Hat enterprise, and LFCS is the cheaper cross-distro alternative; Linux+ falls between the two.

This cert in isolation tells you very little. Here is where it actually sits. The pathways that use it, and the roles it realistically supports.

Linux+ is CompTIA's Linux cert and it falls awkwardly between RHCSA (which Red Hat shops actually recognise) and LFCS (which is cheaper and equally distro-agnostic). Recruiters in serious Linux roles default to RHCSA; recruiters in cost-conscious shops default to LFCS or just ask for evidence. Linux+ ends up in the gap between the two. Take it only if your employer specifically requests it. Skip it self-funded. RHCSA is the better investment for any Red Hat estate, and LFCS plus a public Ansible or shell-scripting portfolio outperforms Linux+ on a generalist sysadmin CV.
